North Curl Curl

The beachside suburb of Curl Curl on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, is renowned for its sandstone ledges and challenging soil conditions. The clients of this project, called on Formed Gardens, knowing of our headland conditions experience and capabilities.  

This sandstone in this garden wanted to be celebrated, with the main feature being what appears to be an angled floating sandstone boulder at the end of the pool. This was achieved by ensuring all existing sandstone rock forms where carefully protected and integrated into the pool and garden design.

The result embraces location, sits comfortably within its surrounds, and offers huge lawns, play spaces and natural beauty.
